Suchismita Majumdar, born in 1991 and hailing from Champahati, a small village in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, is an emerging artist whose work draws inspiration from the hidden beauty of nature. Her paintings reflect a strong aesthetic sensibility, with each brushstroke coming alive through the expressive use of acrylic and oil colours. Deeply influenced by Indian mural and terracotta art forms, her creations convey profound emotion and a sense of continuous new expression. She believes that art is an integral part of life, where the soul is free to bloom in beauty. Her works have been showcased in several notable exhibitions, including the Academy of Fine Arts, Kalaspandan Art Fair, Retro Kolkata, Bengal Artist Warrior art camps, Gaganendra Art Gallery, Birla Art Gallery, and Scarlet India exhibitions between 2018 and 2024.
