A large, finely textured profile of a classical head looks down in quiet thought, while below a sleeping woman with red hair rests peacefully. Between them, blocks of rust red, sage green, grey and ochre are layered with lines of printed text, a white arrow and a curved feather-like stroke. The painting blends sculpture, dreams and modern collage into one mood. Soft greys on the left calm the strong red accents on the right. It speaks about imagination, rest and the quiet space where ideas are born. A refined, thoughtful work for studios, libraries and living rooms.
