A glowing vision of Lord Vitthal rising above a sea of devotees in a sky of fiery orange, violet and blue. His dark, glittering face wears a serene expression, crowned with a golden cap and adorned with fish-shaped earrings, layered necklaces and jewelled armbands, all painted in rich gold detail. Below, warkari pilgrims raise their hands, cymbals and saffron flags in joyful devotion, with one devotee bowing in prayer at the centre. The painting captures the energy, faith and unity of the Pandharpur pilgrimage. A vibrant masterpiece full of devotion, colour and emotion
