A dark, stone-like figure lies stretched across a tiled street in a surreal, misty city scene. A tall ladder rises from his body straight into the distance toward the bright sky, while a small green snake glides on his arm and a dice rests on the floor. Old shop boards and buildings line both sides of the street, softened by thick blue fog. The work turns the childhood game of snakes and ladders into a symbol of luck, fate and life's rises and falls. A cinematic, dreamlike painting with great depth, perfect for a large wall.
