A sleeping child's face, painted in soft black and white grain, rests in the upper corner like a quiet dream. On the right, a vintage postage stamp with a portrait and a round postmark floats among panels of deep blue, burnt orange, red and black. A black and white chequered pattern on the lower left adds a playful, game-like rhythm. The painting joins childhood innocence with history, memory and the passing of time. Rich layers of blue and rust create depth and a nostalgic mood. A striking square canvas that works well in modern homes and creative spaces.
